Professional Youth Advisory Council (PYAC)
This Council was created to be the epicenter for ideas and proposed action items that we can work to put in place with accountability measures and transparency. The Professional Youth Advisory Council will partner with our Senior Leadership and the three National Departments and will operate cooperatively outside of any specific department (Men’s, Women’s or Youth). We will serve as a bridge for growth within our body in its entirety. Everyone, including older, seasoned professionals are encouraged to submit proposals and ideas.
The Professional Youth Advisory Council is made up of three parts: The Core Team, who is responsible for the recruitment of the Guiding Coalition, the Guiding Coalition, who is responsible for working with the Church body to assist in the creation and feasibility of business proposals as well as the Church body, you, who suggest and submit proposals and ideas for the betterment of church business structure. Essentially, every church member is a viable part of the Professional Youth Advisory Council.
The Guiding Coalition is positioned within the youth body to secure ideas and proposals and will meet specific criteria to work with the Professional Youth Advisory Council, who would be the individuals responsible for promoting incoming ideas and strategies. All Guiding Coalition applicants must have specific professional skill sets to be considered. This will ensure that the creation and feasibility stages are worked through completely so a greater degree of success can be met.
Ideas and proposals will be submitted below through an online portal when the submitter will work closely with the Guiding Coalition. After the submitter and Guiding Coalition finalize the proposal, it will be submitted to Bishop for his review and direction.
Updates will be made to the Congregation on quarterly basis on the status of accepted proposals. To manage consistency of progress we will work on three proposals at a time.
