| PM - Family Movie – "The Passion of The Christ" (Main Auditorium) |
| |
The Passion of the Christ is a 2004 American film directed by Mel Gibson and starring Jim Caviezel as Jesus Christ. It depicts the Passion of Jesus according to the New Testament Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The Passion of the Christ covers the final 12 hours of Jesus' life beginning with the Agony in the Garden and ending with a brief depiction of his resurrection. Flashbacks of Jesus as a child and as a young man with his mother, giving the Sermon on the Mount, teaching the Twelve Apostles, and at the Last Supper are also included.
NOTE: This movie is graphic and may not be suitable for young children. |
|
| Movie – “Make A Joyful Noise” (Downstairs Auditorium) |
| |
The small town of Pacashau, Georgia, has fallen on hard times, but the people are counting on the Divinity Church Choir to lift their spirits by winning the National Joyful Noise Competition. The choir has always known how to sing in harmony, but the discord between its two leading ladies now threatens to tear them apart. Their newly appointed director, Vi Rose Hill (Latifah), stubbornly wants to stick with their tried-and-true traditional style, while the fiery G.G. Sparrow (Parton) thinks tried-and-true translates to tired-and-old. Shaking things up even more is the arrival of G.G.'s rebellious grandson, Randy (Jeremy Jordan). Randy has an ear for music, but he also has an eye for Vi Rose's beautiful and talented daughter, Olivia (Keke Palmer), and the sparks between the two teenagers are causing even more heat between G.G. and Vi Rose. If these two strong-willed women can overcome their differences and find a common voice, they--and their choir--may make the most joyful noise of all. |

Dr. Robert K. Cooper (Author of “Executive EQ-Emotional Intelligence in Leadership and Organizations”) |

The idea of Emotional Intelligence is sweeping the country. Science is proving that it is the Emotional Quotient, (EQ) more than the IQ, that drives many of the best decisions, the most successful businesses, and the most satisfying relationships. Dr. Robert Cooper, renowned expert, and pioneer in training exceptional leaders and teams to excel under pressure will facilitate this session. Your Emotional Intelligence is feedback from the heart, not the head that keeps us honest with ourselves, shapes trusting relationships, clarifies important decisions, and provides an inner compass for both business and personal relationships.
